The top blogger jetted off to Italy on her honeymoon but found time to share the behind-the-scenes details to the stunning wedding.

The Dress

“I got my dress in Folkster last May and it was the first dress I tried on, it was also the first bridal shop I went into,” she wrote in her new post.
“For me it was a very easy experience and I was in and out in 20 minutes. I know that is completely down to good luck and as soon as I tried it on I knew it was the one.
“Folkster don’t do any alterations so I got my alterations done in Alt Alterations on Donore Avenue and I cannot recommend them more.
“They took up the length and took out the inbuilt cups and fit it perfectly to my figure and they were great value too,” she added.
The Venue
“After having our wedding there I can now say that it was everything that we could have hoped for,” she says.
“I knew that we were in safe hands when we met Fionnuala our wedding coordinator and on the day they couldn’t have done more for us and our guests.
“Everyone commented on the staff and how welcome they were made feel, it really felt like it was ours for the weekend and I felt at home which is what I wanted.
“We had a barbecue the next day and they went to huge trouble decorating the barbecue area which I wasn’t expecting so it was a lovely surprise when we walked in.
“My advice when choosing your wedding venue is choose somewhere you feel at ease,” she told her readers.
The Bridesmaids Dresses
“My bridesmaid dress were from ASOS,” she revealed.
“I initially wanted them to wear white but in the end I went with a dove grey. Once I knew the colour I literally searched grey dresses on ASOS and hundreds came up.
“I scrolled through and spotted their dress. Again it was very easy and there were so many I could have picked as there were loads of gorgeous options,” she added.
The Mother Of The Bride Outfit
“A lot of you were asking where my mum got her outfit,” Tara admitted.
“She got it from Basler in Arnotts and she looked unbelievable!.”
Video and Photography
“We have already received the first batch of images from our photographer David Frain and they are fabulous.
“I had worked with David a few times as a model and he was very easy to work with so he was an easy choice for our wedding. I am dying to see the rest of the pictures.
“Colm Russell was our videographer and I have worked with him loads of times.
“Some videographers can take over the room on the morning of the wedding and Colm is so discreet and so talented he was my first choice.
“I have watched a lot of his wedding videos online and have been moved to tears even when I don’t know the couple. He always manages to capture the little moments and emotions on the day .
The Cake
“Our cake was again even better then I had imagined. I met Cat from The Cake Cuppery nearly a year before the wedding and ended up chatting to her for ages, she had been recently married herself so she filled me in on her wedding and was so lovely to talk to.
“A lot of people had recommended The Cake Cuppery to me and I can understand why they have such a good name.
“Cat asked for me to send on some pictures of my dress, bridesmaids dress, flowers etc to help give her an idea of our colour scheme,” she wrote.
