Heather Bennett Jacobs and Craig Joseph Jacobs were united in marriage on May 15 at the Buie Barn. The Rev. David Peterman officiated the double-ring ceremony. Nuptial music was provided by Island Jack Entertainment. The bride is the daughter of Donald Rayburn Bennett of Nahunta and Terri Anderson Riggins of Woodbine. The groom is the son is the son of Leslie Joseph Jacobs of Brunswick and Lita Marie Jacobs of Townsend.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a romantic A-line gown by Allure Bridal that featured lace and organza. Its fitted bodice, with a flattering portrait-shaped neckline, also featured a lace keyhole in the back, and a waist defined by a satin band and crystal details.

She carried a bouquet of peach roses with ivory snapdragons and pink spray roses mixed with succulents, pink tulips, ivory hydrangea and dusty miller. It was hand tied with a white satin ribbon, secured with pearl pins and accented with a custom monogrammed handkerchief.

Christin Bennett of Brunswick was the maid of honor. The attendants were Kendell Bennett and Kirstie Bennett, both of Brunswick. Jayden Bell and Legacy Bell, both of Brunswick, were the flower girls.

Jacob Baker of Clermont, Fla., was the best man. The groomsmen were Robert Horan of Nahunta and Ty Hutcheson of Waynesville. Jonas Bell of Brunswick was the ring-bearer.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Buie Barn. A rehearsal dinner was also held at the Buie Barn.

Following a seven-day Caribbean cruise to the Dominican Republic, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico and Grand Turk, the couple will reside in Waynesville.

Mrs. Jacobs is employed as a deputy court clerk with Glynn County Board of Commissioners, and Mr. Jacobs is employed with the City of Brunswick as an engineer/firefighter and the State of Georgia Department of Natural Resources as a heavy equipment operator.
