The couple: Jennifer, from Bothwell, works as a customer team member with Bothwell Co-op and groom Martin, from Bothwell, is an assistant manager with Hilton Strathclyde.

Where they met: Jennifer and Martin met at a local pub in Bothwell.

The wedding: The ceremony was held at Hamilton Town House on Saturday, April 30. Their reception, at Bothwell Bridge Hotel, was attended by 130 family and friends.

Attire: The bride wore Victoria by Kenneth Winston from the Wedding Store, while Martin wore Scottish Spirit from Guilt Edged Glasgow.

Bridal party: The bridesmaids were Amanda Cochran and Kim Armstrong, the pageboy was the happy couple’s son Kayden Armstrong, the best man Mark Howson and the ushers were Declan and Antony Pugh.

Honeymoon: The newlyweds travelled to Tenerife for their honeymoon.
